This activity is based upon the Scripture in Revelation 21:4 which says: “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” All we need to do is look in the Yellow Pages of the phone book to see many things that are a apart of this “present evil world” that will some day be the "former things" of the past.
Print out the activity sheets and have the children look through the Yellow Pages to find things to add to the list of things that will “pass away” when the Kingdom of God is fully established in the earth.

For example: List all of the jobs that will no longer be needed in God’s fully established Kingdom — such as Police Officers, Nurses, and so on... List everything that mankind will no longer experience in God’s fully established Kingdom — such as Crime, Old Age, and so on... List all of the things that will no longer be needed in the fully established Kingdom of God — such as Hand-Cuffs, Nursing Homes, and so on...
