This activity is designed to teach the lesson found in Psalm 24:4:
"Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vainity, nor sworn deceitfully."
Those who will be pleasing to our Heavenly Father will have "clean hands" — they will have actions that are not sinful. They will have "pure hearts" — they will be honest and humble.
Fun Activity on Psalm 24:4

To make this cute Little Lamb
Towel Bar you will need the following:
Print-outs of the Patterns Below
Black Permanent Marker
Faux Fleece
Brown Felt
Reb and Brown Yarn
Jingle Bells
1/2" or 3/4" Round Wooden Dowels
Stapler
Scissors
Elmer's Glue (White Glue)
Foamcore for Background Forms
One Small Hand Towel

Lengths are not given because these will depend on the size desired for your lamb. This sample in the picture is printed on 8.5" x 11" paper, which will require an approximately 12" dowel, approximately 24" piece of brown yarn, and 20" piece of red yarn. But, before cutting several of these, double check on one sample first.

Keep in mind that the glue may have to dry a little between placements of various parts.

After printing and cutting out the patterns, trace around the fleece on the back side and cut out. Then trace out the legs, ears and nose onto the brown felt and cut out.

For the base background form, trace out the pattern onto a Foamcore and cut out. Be sure to glue on the paper side of the Foamcore board.

Glue the nose into position first.

Fold a length of the brown yarn and tie a knot at the fold about two inches down. Tie knots in the two ends of the brown yarn and staple just above these knots in position on the back of the head and rump area of the form. Additionally secure by adding white glue for about 1" along the yard as it rests on the Foamcore.

Fold the leg pieces in half and secure into position onto the Foamcore with white glue. Then staple onto the Foamcore for additional strength.

Apply a generous amount of white glue onto the Foamcore and place the fleece into position.

Take a length of red yarn and wrap it around the Foamcore and fleece. Tie in a knot and thread into position the jingle bell, then tie the yarn into a bow.

Trace around the pattern for the ear and cut out. Pinch the flat end of the shape and glue into the fleece.

Slip the dowel through the leg loops and add a small hand towel. Be sure children know that this is not meant to be pulled on. It is probably best to use as a decoration.
