This activity can be adapted to many age levels. The amount of adult involvement for the project will be dependent upon the dexterity of the children. The depth of understanding upon this serious subject will also depend on the age of the children. The older the children, the more important it is to discuss thoroughly the Scriptures provided in the lesson pages. It is important to remember that we are not to expect complete comprehension on this subject from children who are not consecrated. We are just trying to familiarize the children with the symbols, so that when their minds are ready to understand the spiritual meaning behind the Memorial, they will be better equipped to comprehend the importance of these two emblems.
