This book has been written for children 8 years old and older. It is a Bible story book that begins with the creation of all things and attempts to explain, through simple words and illustrations, the great truths of the Bible and God’s Plan for all people. It is a compilation of individual lessons created to guide a Sunday School class through the basic stories and doctrines taught in the Bible. This book assumes the position that the Bible is God’s Inspired Word and that it is correct historically, scientifically and morally. We believe that the great truths contained in the Bible are a guide for life, not only for children but for all people. 2 Timothy 3:16, 17 The Bible contains a theme of redemption for all who have ever lived. It promises deliverance from the great curse of sin and death that rules the world and our lives today. John 3:16 It considers all people precious before their Creator, who has done everything imaginable to provide for their ultimate peace and happiness. It traces the fall from perfection of our parents, Adam and Eve, in the Garden of Eden when they disobeyed God. It then foretells the return, through Jesus Christ, of earth’s inhabitants to the finished Garden of Eden which will encompass the whole earth. It creates hope and encouragement that this present evil world will come to an end in due time – that God’s will truly will be done on earth as it is done in heaven. We pray the Lord’s blessing on these endeavors.
