We believe that the understanding of the ransom and the sin offering is the most important truth in the plan of God. This foundation doctrine will serve to harmonize all other concepts of the Bible. No other truth illustrates as well the grand attributes of God—His Justice, Love, Wisdom and Power. The discussion questions in the back of each lesson are important for making the definitions more meaningful and lasting. The stories at the end of each lesson were written with the hope that these illustrations will deepen the impression of these two very important doctrines. The stories are not meant to be an exact example, but hopefully, they will provide a more clear definition of what the words "ransom" and "sin offering" mean.
